GRAND RE-OPENING

 SATURDAY MAY 25TH

(opening 7 days a week)

The pier was opened this morning at 6AM and we were greeted with fishermen upon our arrival who have anxiously awaited the re-opening.  The pier, which was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy, has been partially rebuilt (1400' of the previous 2400') to date.   

 

A few stripers where caught today along with sea robins and a few small blues.  There were many fish biting however the bad elements made fishing difficult for those trying to catch the big one!  We'd like to thank those fishermen who braved the cold, rainy and windy weather today to be part of the re-opening.

 

The first fish caught on the new pier for the 2013 Season was a 36" striper, caught by Jonathan Crespo - Congrats!

  

 

  Our 2nd Striper for the day, came in at 31" and caught by Gedeon.

 

DAILY HOURS:  (at this time, there are no working lights on the pier so our hours are as follows:

 

Weekends - 6AM - dark (8pm-8:30pm)

Weekdays - 7AM - dark (8pm-8:30pm)
